Seperate aerobics & Spinning rooms feature their own sound systems, & are used at very high sound pressure levels. The entire facility boasts seven QSC & three Peavey Architectural amplifiers with over 6,000 watts of power & six seperate zones. The main system is controlled from the “Tower” high above the work-out floor. Both GoldVision & Gold’s Latham are a huge success!

 The Starr Entertainment Group was given the task of designing and installing complete sound & video facilities for one of the largest Gold’s Gym’s in the USA. Gold’s Gym of Latham, New York boasts over 35,000 square feet of high-tech work out space. The design required a big video system that could be seen from all areas of the tremendous facility, & audio that would fill the space with rich, full range, high quality sound. “I came up with the circular theme because it presented the best viewing from all angles, it has a sports venue feel, and it looks futuristic & functional, much like the work-out machines themselves” says Peter J. Starr, system designer & President of the Starr Entertainment Group.  The main video system features seven 35” Zenith TVs and a large, high SPL central cluster sound system flown directly under it. “The main sound system can put out dance floor volume, if required.
